First Grade Supply List

***The First Grade Supply List was added to the District's website before the three new-to-first grade teachers got to look at it. If you have already purchased all of your child's supplies, please do not go back to purchase different/more supplies. Sorry for any confusion!***
Please label all of these supplies with your child's name:
1 large Backpack (please label on the outside)
1 standard-sized Supply Box
1 Fiskar pointed scissors
1 large (64 count) box of Crayola crayons—label box (it would be great if you could help open the lid on the perforations)
3 heavy-duty Folders (pockets on the bottom)
1 pencil sharpener (the kind that catches the shavings)
1 pack of Crayola markers--broad/fat tip (label the box)
2 large white Sanford “Vinyl” or Staedtler “White Plastic” erasers (no Pink Pearl or rubber erasers, please)
1 large box of sharpened Crayola colored pencils (just label the box)
2 three-packs of glue sticks (6 total)
1 bottle of Elmer's glue
1 Mead Composition Book (with room for pictures, if possible)
1 Set of Crayola watercolor paints
4 dozen sharpened solid wood “Ticonderoga” pencils-- (the fancy, decorated, plastic wrapped pencils ruin the pencil sharpeners).
1 package of “Super Sticky Pop-Up Post-It” notes
Emergency Kit to include: juice box/water bottle, snack bar, fruit roll-up, handy wipes, silver emergency blanket, and a reassuring note from home all in a gallon-sized Ziploc bag. These will be returned at the end of the school year so you can put in fresh snacks/drink for the next school year.
Please do not label these items. They will be shared by the entire class:
2 large boxes of snacks: crackers, pretzels, animal crackers, goldfish crackers, cookies, etc… (no peanut ingredients, please!)
2 large boxes of Kleenex
Optional Room 6 Wish List Items:
1 ream of colored cardstock &/or copy paper
Gel pens in fun colors
Sharpie markers
Colored paper clips
1 box of Band-Aids or Nexcare bandages, various sizes
1 box of unscented Baby wipes
Ziploc baggies (snack, sandwich, quart, &/or gallon sized)
Small brown paper bags
AA batteries
***If you would be willing to donate any/all of the school supplies for a needy child, please send the supplies to school in a sack specifying that they are donations. Thanks so much for your help!
