Math Standards for November and December
2.4 Select and apply efficient methods to estimate sums and differences or calculate them mentally depending on the numbers and context involved. (i.e. estimation and mental math to solve addition problems)
2.1 Apply with fluency, sums to 20 and related subtraction facts (“turn-arounds”). (e.g., 2+ 4 = 6 and 6-4 = 2)
2.2 Solve multi-digit whole number problems using different methods(e.g., combining sets, using number lines, and hundreds charts) of addition.
2.3 Develop fluency adding multi-digit numbers. Understand place value and number properties related to addition (i.e. quickly add 1 to 3 digit numbers and understand how to add ones, tens, & hundreds).
